   The only point I would wish to make here is that there has been a complete change in context since this chronicle of events ending in 1979. Questions that have been ducted in the past cannot really be avoided now that we have widespread devolution. This indeed is one of the consequences of devolution.

   I think what we were seeking to do by writing this submission was to provide a flavour of the historical background to the question with particular reference to Northern Ireland MPs at Westminster.
